  Four-day sports weekend: Day 1, Thursday, Oct. 25th. Malcolm vs. Centennial, Class C2 playoffs, Malcolm, NE - It was annoyingly cold. Malcolm’s stadium is basically in the middle of a cornfield, so there was no way to stop the wind. The game was close until the second half when Malcolm broke it open and won. I remember typing my cutlines in the pressbox and not being able to feel my fingers.
